Classic Grilled Chicken Drumsticks
INGREDIENTS:
- 8 Born & Raised chicken drumsticks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Pat drumsticks dry. Place in a large bowl or zip-top bag. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
- In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, smoked paprika, ground mustard, cayenne (if using), salt, and pepper. Rub mixture evenly over drumsticks.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (~375–400°F). Oil the grates.
- Place drumsticks on the grill. Cook for 20–25 minutes, turning every 5–6 minutes for even cooking and charring. Internal temp should reach 175°F (80°C) for juicy meat.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Great with grilled veggies or corn on the cob.
