We’ve got big news. Born & Raised is heading north, way north, to the Kvichak River of Alaska. We’re officially adding wild-caught Alaskan salmon to our lineup, sourced from a family that’s been fishing the same waters, the same way, for generations.

A Family, A River, A Way of Life

Westside Wild Salmon isn’t a brand dreamed up in a boardroom. It’s the Hoffman family, generational fishermen who have spent decades working the same waters, season after season.

Every year, from late June through July, the Hoffmans make their way to a tiny inlet off the Kvichak River in Bristol Bay, the largest wild salmon fishery in the world. What started decades ago has grown into a full family affair: children, spouses, and 12 grandchildren all descending on the river together.

They live in small huts, fish from aluminum skiffs, and set nets from the shore, returning to the exact same spots year after year. It’s tradition, repetition, and respect. Nothing rushed. Nothing wasted.
